Hikule'o Kava Supplies is a small family owned business based in Sydney, Australia, and Auckland, New Zealand.

Tongan Mythology

DEMIGOD HIKULE'O

The name of our business was founded from the Tongan mythology. Havea Hikuleʻo  was a female goddess and the ruler of the world, Pulotu. The islands of Kao, Tofua, Hunga Haʻapai, Hunga Tonga, Late and Fonualei came from stones thrown down from the skies by Hikuleʻo. They are all volcanic islands in Tonga. The other, coral islands were fished up by her cousin Maui Motu'a.

What we do

HIKULE'O NOBLE KAVA

Hikule'o Kava Supplies works closely with its Kava cultivators, so that the Kava is harvested at its mature age, the roots are then sun dried under the tropical sunny skies of Tonga and then pounded into powder.
